How does Personalized Video Coaching (PVC) work?
Our flagship driver-improvement service couldn't be more simple or effective:
- Buy a coaching session on our site.
- Complete a brief intake form to help us understand your goals, ambition, expectations, skill level, etc.
- Send us a video of one of your driving sessions: YouTube video (or Google Drive).
- We analyze the video in excruciating detail and find the biggest opportunities for improvement.
- We record a voice-over of your video, pausing and rewinding for points of emphasis. When paused, we use annotation software to draw arrows on the screen to further accentuate the coaching.
- We send the completed PVC Video back to the customer and set up a phone call to go over it after the customer has digested it.
- You apply what you've learned and express surprise and delight at the amount of improvement.
I've had lots of in-car coaching and analysis of my videos. Nothing compares to how Bryan takes you through every aspect of a course, focusing on everything from the minutiae to the big picture. He was even able to see my data when I was driving a great line, but "cheating" on the track-out.

We started Full Throttle by making in-depth track tutorials, but based on feedback, realized that we were basically using our own driving videos to coach ourselves. It worked so well that we started annotating videos for friends and family, and they improved performance so much that we started selling Personalized Video Coaching. A video, with audio, can tell us A LOT. It's no substitute for riding right-seat with a student, but with video coaching, we can be highly effective with much better convenience and bang for the buck.
We can see your line..
Are you "cheating" the turn-in by inching toward the apex, or are you waiting a bit longer and being decisive? How much rotation are you achieving to not only hit your apex, but be at the proper ORIENTATION at the apex? Are you using whole track, especially on corner exits? Are you pinching the exits and binding the car? It's all in the video..
Braking technique
The difference between good and great drivers happens between the start of the release of the brake pedal to the apex - the gradual transition from full braking, to trail-braking, to no braking. This is where we can help you the most if you have data along with your videos. Even with a Garmin Catalyst, we can see the G's and the deceleration rate to determine your start-of-braking, and we can hear what the tires are telling you when you turn in. We can see the yaw of your car to determine if the front end is giving out or if you're causing oversteer. A video tells a thousand stories.
Corner entry
We'll help you fine tune your rate of release of the brake pedal, the rate of progressive steering, how much steering input to apply, and the orientation of your car as your work toward the apex. Oh, and we'll obviously work on increasing your entry speeds! Customers tend to be mystified to learn that they steer the car as much with their feet as their hands.
Corner exit
Corner exit is the reward for a great corner entry. It's when you've oriented your car properly AND hit your apex perfectly, and you can progressively feed in throttle as you unwind the steering wheel. Great exits are the result of great entries, so this is the end that justifies the means. Are you getting to full throttle soon enough? If not, we'll help you understand what's holding you back.

Why do you offer so much free content and a YouTube Channel?
It's our way of giving back to the driving community, because of all the amazing instructors that helped Danna and me along the way. We've made nearly 100 videos offered on our YouTube Channel ranging from short tips and tricks to full-blown, hour-plus-long track tutorials. We offer some beginner content to help you decide if track-driving is for you, or what equipment you might need, as well as the basics of car-control and fundamentals. For racers, we upload most of our race and TT videos at a multitude of tracks, and we've recently started narrating them so you can understand race craft, how to manage mistakes, overall strategy and tactics, tire-management, etc. We also offer some educational articles with wide-ranging topics.
